Steve Nikolaou

Steve is an experienced Architect who truly understands the value of a seamless project delivery process and the importance to owners and developers of maximizing the design value of their new and repositioned buildings.

His expertise includes project design, management, delivery, and interpreting client requirements into robust and viable built solutions.  Coupled with a deep knowledge of workplace design and spatial integration, this enables Steve to contribute to his clients ability to undertake their development projects with confidence.

Steve has extensive experience in retail Architecture, including having held leading roles in major retail projects such as the Hyperdome Entertainment and Leisure Precinct, and a number of foyer and retail expansion developments in Brisbane's CBD.  Over the past decade, Steve has also been responsible for the design and delivery of several premium inner-city rail infrastructure projects for Queensland Rail.  Projects have included the South Brisbane Station heritage refurbishment, Fortitude Valley Station upgrade, Central Station ticketing and concourse redesign, and the 'front end' environs re-planning for the Brisbane Transit Centre.  Other areas of expertise include multi-residential, and commercial fitouts involving extensive building refurbishment.

Steve prefers challenging design opportunities that can benefit from the incorporation of contemporary thinking and technologies, as well as complex project briefs requiring the generation of creative solutions.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Architecture, a Bachelor of Applied Science, and a Master of Business Administration, and is registered with the Board of Architects of Queensland.
